VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Louisa Ardoin, 89, the former Louisa Aucoin, announces her passing on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 30, 2011 at 4:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte with burial to follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery. Father Mario Romero will officiate services.
A loving mother and grandmother, Louisa will be sadly missed by her two sons James Carrol and wife Margaret Ardoin of Richard, Bob and wife Lou Ardoin of Vidrine and one daughter Linda and husband R J Duos of Vidrine, seventeen grandchildren, fortythree great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She now rests in heaven with her husband, Tanzy Ardoin, her parents, Adam and Amelia Aucoin, her grandson Dr. James Anthony Ardoin, and her daughterinlaw Jane Courville Ardoin.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held Sunday, May 29, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Monday, May 30, 2011 from 9:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 6:30 PM.
