She will be sadly missed by her brother Dr. Hansel Janet of Gulfport, MS. and her many nieces, nephews and her great nieces and nephews. Loretta was a kind and loving soul, she enjoyed spending time with her close friends and was an active member of the Catholic Daughters but her true passion was always her precious family.
The family would like to send their sincere gratitude to Prairie Manor Nursing Home, Dr. Tommy Fontenot and his staff and the entire staff of the ICU at Mercy Regional Medical Center, with a special thanks to Nurse Ivy, for the excellent care that they provided during their mothers final days.
She will now reunite in Heaven with the love of her life, her husband, George R. Helmer, Sr., her parents, Robert and Frances Bamber Janet, Sr. and her siblings: R. P. Janet Jr. and Eudora J. Helmer. Their meeting will surely be a joyous occasion, a much anticipated reunion.
