Ville Platte Funeral services for Lillie Fontenot, 72, will be held Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church in Ville Platte. Burial will follow in the Ferguson Cemetery in Bayou Chicot. Brother Kevin West will officiate the services.

Mrs. Fontenot, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at the Heart Hospital in Lafayette..

She is survived 3 sons: Darrel Keith Fontenot and wife Linda of Opelousas, Gary Wade Fontenot and wife Karen of Ville Platte, and Mitchell K. Fontenot of Ville Platte, 1 daughter Karen A. Fontenot of Pine Prairie. 5 brothers Leroy Rollins, Dudley Rollins, Malcom Rollins, George Rollins all of Bayou Chicot and Duke Rollins of Marksville, 4 sisters Christine Kordish of Bayou Chicot, Ella Ruth Fontenot of Ville Platte, Betty Lou Zager of Bayou Chicot, and Elaine Vidrine of Opelousas, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Houston Fontenot Jr., her parents Leon and Anita Rollins, and 2 sisters Helen Winn and Lillian Kordish.

Family request that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, May 14 and Thursday, May 15 from 7:00 am until time of service.
