Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Fontenot, 82, will be held Monday, February 9, 2009 at 2pm at Our Lady Queen of All Saints. Burial will follow in the Tee Mamou Cemetery in Ville Platte.

Mrs. Fontenot, a resident of Ville Platte, died Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 8:07am at the Ville Platte Medical Center.

A loving mother, and grandmother, she is survived by her two sons: James Patrick Fontenot wife Sandra of Ville Platte, and James Wilbur Thompson and wife Anna of Ville Platte, one daughter: Cathy Arnold and husband James of Ville Platte and 8 grandchilren, Jeremy Patrick Fontenot, Jessica Soileau, Kirk Vidrine, Marcus Vidrine, James Wilbur Thompson II, Jordan Ortego, Katie Thompson, and Jennifer Acosta.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward P. Fonteot.

Family request visiting hours be observed Sunday, February 08, 2009 from 9am until 10pm and again on Monday, February 9, 2009 at 8am until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 6:30pm on Sunday February 8, 2009.
