VILLE PLATTE- Funeral Services for Leonard Ardoin, age 87, will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 10 AM at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Burial will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery with Father Tom Voorhies, Celebrant.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte from 3 PM until 9 PM and will resume Friday morning at 8 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed in Mr. Ardoin's honor Thursday evening at 7 PM.

Leonard passed away peacefully on April 7, 2016 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. A resident of Ville Platte, Leonard was a truck driver, owner and operator of Ardoin's Fish Market of Ville Platte, and also owned race horses.

Leonard leaves behind his sons, Donald Ray Ardoin and wife Viola of Mamou, Leonard Ardoin, Jr. and wife Brenda of Ville Platte, David James Ardoin and wife Livi of Mamou, daughter, Sandra Ardoin LeDoux and husband Chris of Coushatta, La., brother, Floyd Ardoin of Ville Platte, sister, Lois Toole of Houston, Tx. And numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Alfred and Lena Ardoin and son, Joseph Michael Ardoin.

All Arrangements are entrusted to Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte, Louisiana.
