Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Mae Ardoin, 77, will be held Sunday, January 14, 2007 at 1pm in Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Eternal Rest Cemetery. Fr. Randall Moreau will officiate the services.

Mrs. Ardoin, a resident of Ville Platte, died Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Ville Platte Medical Center. For many years Mrs. Ardoin worked as a CNA with the Maison De Sente Nursing Home.

Survivors include her sons, Lee Ray Ardoin and his wife Yvette of Bayou Lourse, Dudley Joseph Ardoin and his wife Charlene of Ville Platte; daughters, Dorothy Jane Young and her husband Roland, Linda Mae Bordelon and her husband Clyde, Paula Ann Guillory and her husband Danny all of Ville Platte; 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Ardoin, son, Ray Allen Ardoin, 4 brothers, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 13, 2007 from 5pm until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm. Saturday.
