VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Lelia Soileau Guillory, 91, announces her passing on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Mercy Regional Hospital. A mass of Christian burial will take place Wednesday, November 23 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rite of committal will follow in the old Ville Platte Cemetery with Father Josh Guillory celebrant.
Mrs. Guillory loved to cook, sew, and take care of her family. She also loved playing cards with family and friends. A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Lelia will be sadly missed by her two sons Louis Joseph L J Guillory and Patrick Addie Guillory and wife Paula, three daughters Ronella Fontenot and husband Leon, Rose Anna Frey and husband Ron, and Linda Fontenot all of Ville Platte, 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
She now joins in heaven her husband Addie Guillory, her granddaughter Terri Ann Fontenot, her brothers Yeager, Delma, and Herman Soileau, her infant sister, her parents Louis Joseph, and Eza Fontenot Soileau,, and her soninlaw John Fontenot.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 8:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 8:00 am until time of services. A rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm.
