Memorial services for Mr. Lee Roy Fontenot, 79 will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 2pm in St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie, La. Fr. Richard Broussard will officiate the services.

Mr. Fontenot, a resident of Pine Prairie, died Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie.

A loving husband and father he is survived by his wife, Irene McCauley Fontenot of Pine Prairie; two sons, Wendell Fontenot and wife Cindy of Pine Prairie, and Chris Fontenot and wife Holly of Lake Charles, La.; three daughters, Phyllis Davenport and husband Al of Poplarville, MS, Charlene Wisher and husband Danny of Natchitoches, La., and Kim Fontenot and husband Ronnie of Lake Charles, La.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Curley Fontenot, one daughter, Sheila Fontenot , and one grandchild, Jordan Fontenot.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008, at 1:30 at St. Peters Church in Pine Prairie until time of services.
