VILLE PLATTE It is great sadness that the family of Lee Anna Fontenot announces her passing on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at her residence in Berwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 11 A.M. at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Bertrand Cemetery in Prairie Rhonde with Father Mario Romero as Celebrant.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, Lee Anna will be lovingly remembered by her son, Herbert Fontenot Jr. and his wife, Rhonda, of Morgan City, her two daughters, Mary Jeanette Guidry and her husband, Weston Jr., of Berwick and Debra Jagneaux of Morgan City. She also leaves behind two brothers and two sisters, Rodney Jagneaux Sr. of Mamou, Buren Jagneaux of Reddell, Norma Jean Jagneaux of Bayou Chicot and Geraldine LaFleur of Berwick. She was especially proud of her ten grandchildren, Andrew Goldman Guidry, Weston Guidry III, Brandon Guidry, Sasha Guidry Mayon, Braxton Fontenot, Gene Stratton Jr., Shane Hersey Stratton, Kasey Stratton, Darla Percle and Ciara Percle and her fifteen great grandchildren were the light of her life.
She now joins in Heaven her husband Herbert Fontenot Sr., her parents John and Laura Jagneaux and her grandchild Sasha Stratton. She will be welcomed by all.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Wednesday, April 6, 2011 from 11 A.M. until time of services Thursday. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 6:30 P.M.
