VILLE PLATTEIt is with great sadness that the family of Leas Joseph Veillon, 79, announces his passing on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1:30 PM Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow at the Eternal Rest Cemetery with Fr. Josh Guillory as Celebrant.
Mr. Veillon is survived by his loving brother, Joseph Murrey Veillon and his wife, Laura, of Ville Platte. His memory will also be cherished by all those touched by his kindness and gentle nature.
Leas was preceded in death by his parents, Fabuis and Margaret Veillon.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM and again Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 8:00 AM until time of services. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM.
