VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Kathleen S. Soileau, 87, announces her passing on Monday, May 28, 2012 at Mercy Regional Hospital in Ville Platte. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Rite of committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery with Fr. Garrett McIntyre acting as celebrant.
A loving mother and grandmother, Kathleen will be missed by her daughter Melissa S. Hodlik of Houston, two sons Don Soileau of Lafayette and Barrett Soileau of Ville Platte, and one granddaughter Rachel H. London of Pittsburgh, PA.
She now joins in heaven her beloved husband Dr. Gordon E. Soileau and her son Lyndon S. Soileau.
At the request of the family visitation will take place at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 5:30 PM.
