VILLE PLATTE- It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Jules Enicke, 87, announces his passing on Monday, April 27, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church at 1:30 PM. A burial will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery with Father Mitchell Guidry as celebrant.
Mr. Enicke was a Veteran, having proudly served in the United States Army.
A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, Jules will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 65 years, Ida Fontenot Enicke of Ville Platte, sons; Benny Enicke and wife Arlene of Vidrine, Byron Enicke and wife Debbie of Ville Platte, Gary Enicke and wife Sally of Ville Platte, Myles Enicke and wife Pat of Ville Platte and Bart Enicke and wife Jana of Ville Platte. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his 15 grandchildren and 16 Great grandchildren.
Jules will now reunite in heaven with his parents, John and Joyce Enicke and one brother, Ryan Louis Enicke. They will be awaiting his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the Enicke family, a visitation will be held on Wedneday, April 29, 2015 from 10 AM until 9 PM at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte and will reopen on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 8 AM until time of services. A rosary will be recited in Mr. Enicke's honor on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 6:30 PM.
