Ville Platte Funeral services for Juanita B. Lafleur, 78, will be held Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Fr. Josh Guillory will officiate the services.

Ms. Lafleur, a resident of Ville Platte, died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 11:31 a.m. in The Guardian House in Lake Charles. She was a former elementary school teacher and beautician.

Survivors include her son, Dwain J. Lafleur and wife, Rose of Ville Platte; a daughter, Nazy Sue Fontenot and husband, Hal of Lake Charles, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, two step grandchildren, and three step great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lafleur, Jr.

Family request the visiting hours be observed Friday, May 9, 2008 from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
