VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Joyce Lee Brunet, 73, announces her passing on Sunday, January, 1, 2012 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in her honor Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the TeMamou Cemetery also in Ville Platte. Fr. Mitchell Guidry will officiate the services.
A loving mother, grandmother and sister, Joyce is survived by her son, Curtis Lee Brunet, Jr. and his wife, Belinda, of Eunice and one daughter, Monica Brunet Thompson and her husband, Todd, of Bayou Chicot. She also leaves behind one brother, Herbert Manuel of Oberlin and one sister, Jo Ann Manuel of Denham Springs. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her three beloved grandchildren: Justin Brunet, Sommer Fontenot and Chelsea Fontenot.
She now joins in Heaven, her dear husband, Curtis Lee CL Brunet, Sr. and her parents, Ariel and Ethel Manuel. They await her arrival with open arms and joyful hearts.
At the request of the family, visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte. A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 PM Tuesday evening and the parlor will close at 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue Wednesday, January 4, 2012 beginning at 8:00 AM and continue until time of services.
