VILLE PLATTE- The family of Joseph Tim Veillon, age 53, announces his passing on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 2 PM at St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie. Burial will follow in the Fontenot Cemetery in Pine Prairie with Father Kenneth Mayne, celebrant.

At the request of the Veillon family, a visitation will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte from 5 PM until 10 PM and will reopen on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 8 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed in Mr. Veillon's honor Monday evening at 6:30.

A loving husband, brother, Uncle and friend, Joseph will be greatly missed by his wife of 22 years, Tracy Lynn Baughman Veillon of Ville Platte, brother, Don Veillon of Opelousas, half-brother, Jim Veillon of New Orleans, nephews, Aaron Baughman of Ville Platte, Christopher Baughman of Pine Prairie, Johnathan Baughman of Marksville, Todd Veillon of Grand Prairie, niece, Hope Shepherd of Chataignier and great nieces, Hensley Shepher of Chataignier and Rose Veillon of Grand Prairie.

He will now reunite in Heaven with his parents, Leroy P and Elaine Veillon.
