TURKEY CREEK It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Joseph Kyle Allen, 42, announces his passing on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Turkey Creek Trinity Baptist Church. Rite of committal will follow in the Turkey Creek Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Douglas and Rev. Barry Gautreaux officiating services.
Joseph worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a senior officer. Among the many activities he enjoyed were roping, hunting and fishing. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Joseph will be greatly missed by his wife of 15 years Donna Allen of Turkey Creek, his parents Roy and Francis Allen of Chicot, three sons Corey Gautreaux, Ryan Gautreaux, and Casey Allen all of Turkey Creek, one brother Charles Allen of Chicot, one sister Adrienne Allen Bozeman and husband Martin of Shreveport, two grandchildren Riley Renee and Kara Skie Gautreaux, and a host of other family and friends.
At the request of the family, visitation will be at the Turkey Creek Trinity Baptist Church on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 11:00 AM until time of services on Tuesday.
