Ville Platte Funeral services for Mr. John Ray Fuselier, 63, will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 3pm in Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery. Deacon T.J. Richard will officiate the services.

Mr. Fuselier, a resident of the Point Blue community, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. in Ville Platte Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Macquelyn Mackie Fuselier of Point Blue; one son, Tony Miller and wife, Liz of Broussard; four daughters, Tammy Courville and husband, Keith of Point Blue, Melissa Luke and husband, Henry of Ville Platte, Cecilia Veillon of Ville Platte, and Carolyn Fontenot of Ville Platte; one sister, Patsy Ray and husband, Floyd of Plaquemine; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by two daughters, Monica Millier and Rachel Miller; parents, Littell and Clemance Fuselier; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2008 from 6pm until 10pm and on Wednesday from 7am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7pm Tuesday.
