Ville Platte It is with great sadness that the family of Jimmy Johnson, Sr., 56 announces his passing. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the M.B. Fontenot Cemetery.
A loving husband, son, father, brother, and grandfather, Jimmy will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Diane Guillory Johnson of Ville Platte mother, Elsie Mae Catoire of Eunice three daughters, Mary Johnson Delafosse and husband, Joseph of Mamou, Susan Johnson King of Hawaii, and Rebecca Johnson Bordelon and husband, Michael Dwayne of Pine Prairie two brothers, Tommy Johnson of Richard and Anthony Tony Johnson of Ville Platte one sister, Elaine Faye Miller of Eunice and eight grandchildren.
He now rest in Heaven with his father, Deno A. Johnson a son, Jimmy L. Johnson, Jr. and a sister, Genevieve Johnson Doucet.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Friday, May 28, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday.
At the request of the family in lieu of flowers family request donations.
