Ville Platte Funeral services for Mr. Jessie Lee Soileau, 68, will be held Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 10am in Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park. Fr. Gene Tremie will officiate the services.

Mr. Soileau, a resident of Ville Platte, died Sunday, April 29, 2007 in Opelousas General Health Systems.

Survivors include is former first wife, Charlene Doucet of Denham Springs, former second wife, Joyce Soileau of Ville Platte; one son, Steve Soileau and wife, Renee of Eunice; one daughter, Patricia Soileau Stubbs and husband, Sam of Denham Springs; two step children, Lynette Klorik of Breaux Bridge and Shannon Vidrine of Lafayette; one brother, John Ernest Soileau and wife, Marie of California; two sisters, Jean Fontenot of Lake Charles and Linda Glick of Houston, Tx.; three grandchildren, Marcus Soileau, Jed Berzas, and Zack Stubbs.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Exole Soileau and a brother, Bernell Soileau.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2007 from 1pm until 10pm and on Thursday from 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7pm Wednesday.
