VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte on Sunday, March 11, 2018, for Jerald Leo Fontenot, 67, who passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Ville Platte, LA.

Eric Fontenot will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in the Old Ville Platte Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janice T. Fontenot; one son, Jeremy T. Fontenot both of Ville Platte and one sister, Mary Fay Joubert of Slidell, LA.

He is preceded in death by his mother and step father, Mary Mona Pitre Joubert and Herbert Lee Joubert and one brother, Roland James Fontenot.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Saturday Evening at the funeral home by Eric Fontenot. Visitation will continue Sunday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
