James Manuel

VILLE PLATTE- A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM for James B. Manuel, 80, at Gates of Heaven Cemetery on Thursday, December 21, 2017, who passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Mercy Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones.

James was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force. He served his country for 26 years.

His memories will live on through his family. He is survived by his loving companion of 35 years, Annetta Juneau; daughter, Jamie Manuel of San Antonio, TX; children of Annetta Juneau, Robert Juneau and Danette Juneau; grandchildren, Jessica Aguillom, Ashley Manuel and Summer Juneau; great-grandson, Zacharia Rodriguez; sisters, Diana Fontenot and husband Earl of Ville Platte and Gloria Paret of Mineral Wells, TX; and brothers, Burkeman Manuel of Virginia and Larry Manuel and wife Kim of Mamou.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Irene Manuel; brother, John Manuel; and son of Annetta Juneau, Jonathon Juneau.

In lieu of flowers the family would like for donations to be made to a charity of choice in honor of James B. Manuel.
