Funeral services for Mr. James Hubert Soileau, 63, will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 2 p.m. in Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Soileau, a resident and native of Bayou Chicot, died Sunday, February 8, 2009 in Ville Platte Medical Center.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, he is survived by his wife, Gloria Mae Soileau of Ville Platte; two sons, Johnny Manuel and wife, Rita of Ville Platte and Brian Manuel and wife, Doral of Ville Platte; two daughters, Kay Barzare and husband, Bradley of Bayou Chicot and Debra Fontenot and husband, Jimmy of Bayou Chicot; one brother, JD Soileau of Bayou Chicot; one sister, Mary Laviolette of Leonville; ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; three nephews and one niece.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Corine Soileau.

Family request that visiting hours be observed Monday, February 9, 2009 from 1pm until 10pm and again on Tuesday from 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:30pm.
