Funeral services for Mr. James A. Bourque, 70, will be held Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 1:30pm in the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery. Fr. Randall Moreau will officiate the services.

Mr. Bourque, a resident of Ville Platte, died Friday, January 12, 2007 at 12:40pm at his residence.

Survivors include a step son, James Mervin McCauley of Ville Platte; two step daughters, Frieda McCauley of Ville Platte and Cindy Elkins and husband, Brent of Ville Platte; one brother, Johnny Bourque of Ville Platte; one sister, Anna Mae Bourque of Ville Platte; and five grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Marie L. Bourque and a son, John T. Bourque.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 12, 2007 from 5pm until 10pm and on Saturday from 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 8pm Friday.
