Ville Platte Funeral services for Iris M. Doucet, 99, will be held Monday, September 24, 2007 at 10am in Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Ms. Doucet, a resident of Ville Platte, died Friday, September 21, 2007 at 7:44 am in Ville Platte Medical Center.

Survivors include, a son, John Ronald Doucet, Sr. of Ville Platte; two brothers, Jimmy Iros Manuel of Morgan City and Erray A. Manuel of Ville Platte; four grandchildren, John Ronald Doucet, Jr., Michael Percy Doucet, David James Doucet, and Patricia Ann Doucet; numerous great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Percy Doucet; parents, Sicfroid and Alida Manuel; four brothers, Dewey JB Manuel, Isom A. Manuel, Herman Manuel, and Fudland Manuel; and four sisters, Alex M. Ardoin, Leander Nan Soileau, Elta M. Hazelton, and Mae M. Saunders.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 23, 2007 from 10am until 10pm and on Monday from 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 7pm
