VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Inez McDaniel, 82, announces her passing on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Mercy Regional Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 12:00 PM at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Fontenot Cemetery in Tate Cove with Father Romero as Celebrant.
A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, Inez will be loving remembered by her three sons, Daniel McDaniel and his wife Lou Anna of Ville Platte, Taduise McDaniel Jr. and his wife Dianna of Ville Platte, and Phillip McDaniel of New York, her two daughters, Geneva Brown and her husband Curtis of Ville Platte and Kathy M. Riley of Ville Platte, and her sister Emma Lou Thompson and her husband Thomas of Ville Platte, eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
She now joins in Heaven her husband, Taduise McDaniel, Sr., parents Alexson and Emma McDaniel Fontenot, one daughter Ola Mae McDaniel and her brother Henry Lee Fontenot.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Friday March 4, 2011 from 11 AM until 10 PM and again Saturday March 5, 2011 at 8 AM until time of service. A Rosary will recited at 6:30 PM Friday evening.
