Ville Platte Funeral services for Hermance Fontenot, 88, will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 10:30am in the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Turkey Creek Cemetery.

Ms. Fontenot, a resident of Ville Platte, died Sunday, February 3, 2008 in Maison De Lafayette Nursing Home.

Survivors include her son, Dowell Johnson of Westnonland, TN., daughter, Barbara Vidrine Vautrot of Lafayette, a brother, Dominque Vidrine of San Antonio, TX., two sisters, Elma Vidrine of Austin, TX. and Lena Vidrine Roach of Lake Charles, LA; and four grandchildren, Benjamin Johnson, Tara Gondron, Phillippe Vautrot, and Dr. Victor Johnson Vautrot.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2008 from 8am until time of services.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Human Society in her memory.
