Ville Platte It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Herbert Joseph Pitre announces his passing on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the age of 46. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Rite of Committal will follow in the Ferguson Cemetery in Bayou Chicot with Bro. Larry Ferris officiant.
Herbert will be lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him especially his father, Herbert Pitre of McNary, La one step son, Justin Craft of Roswell, New Mexico two step daughters, Jennifer Craft and Lorean Craft both of Roswell, New Mexico one brother, Michael W. Pitre of McNary, La one sister, Sheryl P. Bordelon and husband, Mark of Berwick, La one step grandson, James Collins six nephews, four nieces, two great nieces, and two great nephews.
He now rest in heaven with his wife, Laurie Thompson Pitre and his mother, Anne Mitchell Pitre.
At the request of the family visitation will be held Friday, October 8, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, October 9, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
