Funeral services for Mrs. Helen M. Morein, 90, will be held 11am Saturday, December 30, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park.

Mrs. Morein, a resident and a native of Ville Platte, died Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at 8:20pm at Savoy Medical Center.

Survivors include a son, Bernard Morein and wife, Mary F. of Lafayette; a daughter, Patty M. Hogue, and husband, Leon of Chicot; a brother, J.B. Saucier of Lake Charles; and a sister, Claudia Lou Fontenot of Ville Platte; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Frank Morein and parents, Jean Batiste and Celeste Saucier.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 29, 2006 from 3pm until 10pm and on Saturday 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6pm Friday.
