Ville Platte It is with great sadness that the family of Hazel McDaniel, 87 announces her passing on Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel. Rite of Committal will follow in the B.J. Fontenot Cemetery.
A loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, Hazel will be lovingly remembered by her son, Danny John McDaniel and his wife, Jennifer of Ville Platte two daughters, JoAnn Bordelon and her husband, James of Ville Platte and Georgie Carol McDaniel Wilkes and her companion, Dennis Guidry of Lafayette one brother, Joseph Kirby of Baton Rouge one sister, Marjorie Sedonia Barldwell of Angelton, Tx seven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Lee McDaniel parents, Joseph Cronge and Georgie Victoria Gustafson two brothers, Herman Danel and Oneal Gustafson and one sister, Marjorie Elaine Kidd.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., and on Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
