Ville Platte Funeral services for Ms. Hazel Lee Ardoin, 84 will be held Sunday, January 11, 2009 at 3 p.m. in St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie. Burial will follow in the Ortego Cemetery in Pine Prairie. Fr. Richard Broussard will officiate the services.

A native of Ville Platte, Ms. Ardoin, died Friday, January 9, 2009 at 1:30 a.m. in St. Clare Manor. She was a member of Desk and Derrick Club of New Orleans and Metairie.

She is survived by four nephews, Roderick Neal of Houston, Tx., Norris Whittington of Westlake, La., Dale Whittington of Ellerbe, N.C. , and Jimmy Whittington or Westlake, La.; and two nieces, Cheryl Deville of Baton Rouge and Anita Friedman of California.

Family request that visiting hours be observed Sunday, January 11, 2009 in St. Peters Catholic Church from 1 p.m. until time of services.
