VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Harold Vidrine, 83, announces his passing on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Eunice Manor Nursing Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum with Fr. Mitchell Guidry acting as Celebrant.
Harold leaves behind one daughter, Pamela Ann Vidrine of Baton Rouge, two nephews: Gerald Vidrine and Terald Vidrine of Ville Platte and one God child: Betty Michot, also of Ville Platte. His memory will most certainly be cherished by his special family: Clara Boulet, Lennie and wife, Amanda Boulet and their children, Courtney, Jeffery, Alexis and Cami all of whom reside in Eunice. He also leaves behind one grandchild.
He now joins in Heaven, his dear parents, Joseph and Atile Vidrine and one brother, John Mark Vidrine. They await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte beginning at 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 25, 2012 and remain open to the public until 10:00 PM that evening. Visitation will continue Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 8:00 AM until time of the services. A Rosary will be recited in his memory Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM.
