VILLE PLATTEIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Grace Hudson, 62, announces her passing on Monday, October 24, 2011 at home surrounded by her loved ones. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum with Father McIntyre Celebrant.

A loving companion, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Graces memory will be cherished by her beloved companion, Billy Rich of Ville Platte two sons, Chad Hudson and wife, Andrea of Point Blue, and Greg Hudson and companion, Tricia Rider of Pine Prairie two daughters, Patricia Pellerin and husband, Dennis of Bayou Chicot, and Sadie Manuel and companion, Eric Liddell of Baton Rouge brother, Harold Manuel and wife, Marilyn of Ville Platte two sisters, Sherry Menard and husband, Floyd, and Bobbie Bordelon and husband, Earl, all of Eunice sister inlaw, Melissa Manuel of Ville Platte. Also left behind to mourn her loss is her twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews they were truly the light of her life. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She now joins in Heaven her parents, Cary and Alice Bordelon Manuel brother, John J.C. Cary Manuel two infant sisters and great grandchild, Riley Jude Hudson.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Tuesday, October 25th from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, October 26th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm Tuesday evening.
