Ville Platte It is with great sadness that the family of Golman Guillory, 74 announces his passing on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Ville Platte Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery with Fr. Gene Tremie Celebrant.

Golman owned and operated Evangeline Floor Covering for 45 years in Ville Platte. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and formed the Little League Association in Ville Platte. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Golman will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Jane Taylor Guillory of Ville Platte; a daughter, Paula Landreneau and husband, Cecil Kent of Ville Platte; and two grandchildren, Allie Christiana Landreneau and Lance Joseph Landreneau.

He was preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Dunice Guillory and a brother, John Francis Guillory.

The family request that visiting hours be observed Friday, October 30, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, October 31, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Friday evening.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital in Memory of Golman Guillory.
