VILLE PLATTE - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Germa Vidrine, 95, announces her passing on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, June 18, 2015, at 12:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church. Rite of committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery with Father Mitchell Guidry as celebrant.
A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Germa will be greatly missed by her son, Paul Craig Vidrine and wife Carleen of Ville Platte and daughters Cynthia Ardoin and husband David of Ville Platte and Jessica Dardeau and husband Michael of Gonzales. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her nine grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
She now rests with her husband Paul Eric Vidrine, parents Ortere and Dorice Fuselier, brothers Jeff and Louis Fuselier and great grandchild Gemma Elnaggar.
At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 9 PM and again on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 8:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be recited in her honor on Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM.
