Ville Platte A Mass of Christian Burial for Geraldleen King 58, will be Monday, April 28, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Burial will follow in the Old Ville Platte Cemetery with Fr. Josh Guillory officiating the services.

Ms. Geraldleen, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2008 at her residence. She was a CNA for thirteen years and helped many people throughout her nursing career.

She is survived by her companion, Gerald Cryer of Rosepine, LA; one daughter, Angela Conley of Ville Platte; one brother, Norris Lee of Ville Platte; one sister, Beryl Lee of Lake Charles; four grandchildren, Clinton Stanford, Gilbert Lafleur, Cameron King, and Alex King; and one great-grandchild, Ann Margaret Stanford.

Ms. King is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dillard Lee and one brother, Bobby Lee.

Family request that visiting hours be observed Sunday, April 27, 2008 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and again on Monday, April 28, 2008 from 8 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
