Ville Platte Funeral services for Georgianna Ardoin, 63, will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 10 a.m. in the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Ferguson Cemetery. Bro. Leon Terrell will officiate the services.

Mrs. Ardoin, a resident of Bayou Chicot, died Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 9:12 a.m. in Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.

A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, she is survived by two sons, Randy Ardoin of Bayou Chicot and Jody Ardoin and wife, Crystal of Bayou Chicot; one daughter, Brenda Miller and husband, Jules of Walker; two brothers, Harold Fontenot of Bayou Chicot and Clarence Fontenot of Ville Platte; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Ardoin and a son, David Ardoin.

Family request visiting hours be observed Friday, November 21, 2008 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and on Saturday from 7 a.m. until time of services.
