VILLE PLATTE – Funeral services will be held at a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Ville Platte on Saturday, July 24, 2021 for Gary Dale Beaubouef, 82, who passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Heritage Manor of Ville Platte surrounded by his family.
Father Andrew Killeen will be celebrant of the Mass and will conduct funeral services.
Burial will take place in the Ferguson Cemetery.
Gary Dale Beaubouef was born on August 14, 1938 to Floyd Beaubouef and Malvina “Fee” Baldridge Beaubouef in Ville Platte, LA. Gary worked in the oil and gas industry. He was a jack of all trades. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed being outdoors. Gary also liked to restore old tractors. He loved spending time with his family and friends who meant the world to him.
He is survived by his four sons, Jeff Beaubouef and wife, Amy of Bayou Chicot, Christopher Beaubouef of Bayou Chicot, Clay Beaubouef and wife, Evelina of St. Landry and Gary D. Beaubouef, Jr and wife, Sharron of Kinder; three daughters, Karen Beaubouef Dupre and husband, Mike Dupre of St. Landry, Roxanne Beaubouef Dupre and husband, Tony of Bayou Chicot and Pam Beaubouef Olson and husband, Steve of Bayou Chicot; thirty-one grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; his brother, Robert Beaubouef of Opelousas and two sisters, Deanna (Tatee) Butler of Belle Chase and Linda Jenkins of Belle Chase.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Greg Beaubouef and Robert "Robbie" Beaubouef and daughter, Gwendolyn Beaubouef.
At the request of the family, visitation will be observed on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM by Deacon Chuck Ortego. Visitation will resume Saturday, July 24, from 8:00 AM until time of service.
