Ville Platte Funeral services for Mr. Fred B. Fontenot, also known as T-Fred, 74, will be held Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 1:30pm in the Belaire Cove Chapel. Burial will follow in the Belaire Cove Cemetery. Fr. Michael Delcambre will officiate the services.

Mr. Fontenot, a resident and native of Ville Platte, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 1:30pm at Ville Platte Medical Center.

Survivors include his former wife, Dolores P. Fontenot of Ville Platte; two sons, Joseph E. Fontenot and Cathy Bordelon of Grand Prairie and Anthony Fontenot of Princeton, N.J.; three daughters, Sandra Vidrine and husband, Terald of Ville Platte, Christine Fontenot, and Janita Chapman; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; nine nieces and two nephews.

He is preceded in death by a son, John Fred Fontenot, Jr.; parents, Tommy and Eve Fontenot; two brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2007 from 10am until 12am and on Thursday from 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7pm Wednesday.
