VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Friday, March 8, 2019 for Farrell Fontenot, 83, who passed away on March 6, 2019 in Ville Platte, LA.

Deacon Ben Soileau will be conducting all funeral services.

Burial will take place in the Beaver Cemetery.

Farrell is survived by his wife of 22 years, Evelyn Mary Fontenot; sons, Louis Dale Fontenot of Pine Prairie and Reggie Fontenot of Oakdale; grandchildren, Joey Fontenot, Michael Fontenot, and Tyler Fontenot; and 6 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lennix and Edmonia Fontenot; first wife, Pearly H. Fontenot; second wife, Marella Fontenot; sisters, Louella Fusilier and Claira Fusilier; and one brother, Joseph H. Fontenot.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will resume Friday, March 8, 2019 at 8:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 6:00 PM.
