VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Ettavee Fontenot, 84, announces her passing on Saturday, December 26, 2009. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, December 28, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery in Mamou with Fr. Mario Romero celebrant.br A loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, she will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Winston C. Fontenot, one son, John David Fontenot and wife Karen of Ville Platte, one sister Edwina Hernandez of Lafayette, and 5 grandchildren Grant, Jennifer, Brad, Victoria, and Colleen Fontenot.br Mrs. Fontenot was preceded in death by her parents John Preston and Bertha Smith, two brothers Ransdall Smith and John Preston Smith, Jr., and one sister Gerri Hebert.br Family request that visiting hours be observed Monday, December 28, 2009 at 8:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be recited Monday at 11:00 AM.br Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.br
