VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services will be held at a 3:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte on Friday, May 3, 2019 for Ethelyn "Zwack" Coreil, 81, who passed away on Wednesday, May 01, 2019.

Father Mitch Guidry, pastor of Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and will conduct funeral service.

Entombment will take place in Sacred Heart Mausoleum.

Ethelyn "Zwack" Coreil was born on August 23, 1937 in St. Landry, LA to Darcenus and Lois Guillory Monier. She was a faithful member of Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Ethel taught French at Sacred Heart many years ago. She then went on to work at Evangeline Bank for over 20 years. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her two nephews, Dr. Chuck Monier of Ville Platte and Kurt Perrodin and wife Jessica of Westlake, La; two nieces, Melissa Perrodin Rech and husband Scott of Sugarland, Tx and Katie Morrison of Ville Platte; two sisters-in-law, Diana Perrodin of Lake Charles and Sandra Monier of Ville Platte; and eleven great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jacques Robley Coreil; parents, Darcenus and Lois Guillory Monier; two brothers, Joe Monier and Sylvan Monier; and nephew, Todd Monier.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 11:00 PM. A rosary will be recited on Thursday at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 9:00 AM until time of service.
