Ville Platte Funeral services for Mrs. Etella Bobbie Fontenot, 74, will be held Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 2pm in Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery. Bro. Russell Cobb will officiate the services.

Mrs. Fontenot, a native of Ville Platte and a resident of Scott, died Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 12:45pm in Southwest Medical Center in Lafayette.

Survivors include her husband, Herman Boy Fontenot of Scott; one son, Michael Fontenot of Scott; two daughters, Pam Fontenot of Scott and Shelley Richard and husband, Matthew of Sunset; ten grandchildren, Vanessa Magnon, Jeremy Fontenot, Olivia Guidry, Holly Palombo, Michael Fontenot, Jr., Nicholas Fontenot, Candie Fontenot, Heather Touchet, Hannah Touchet, and Jordan Richard who is presently serving in the U.S. Army; three great grandchildren, Alyssa, Alexis, and Audrey.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 25, 2007 from 12pm until 10pm and on Saturday from 8am until time of services.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mrs. Fontenots family in memory of her.
