Ville Platte - Funeral Services will be celebrated on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte for Emma Joy Deville, 48, who passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Ville Platte Medical Center. Rite of Committal will follow in a local cemetery with Fr. Guillory Celebrant.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry J. Deville of Ville Platte; her mother, Loretta Brown of Ville Platte; a daughter, Tanya Marie Pitre Soileau and husband, Jason Brett Soileau of Ville Platte; two brothers, Kerney Brown and Frederick Brown, both of Ville Platte; one sister, Betty Vidrine of Turkey Creek; an uncle, Arthur Guillory of Ville Platte; and previous husband, Kenneth Joseph Pitre of Ville Platte.

She is preceded in death by her father, Duse Brown.

The family request that visitation be observed at Ardoin Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 from 1 p.m. until time of services on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening.
