Elizabeth “Liz” Barzare Shea was born on June 10, 1960 in Kinder, LA to Philip and Betty Morein Barzare. Liz was a huge Saints fan. She enjoyed watching them play and cheered loudly for her team even through the brown bag years. She also enjoyed movies and trivia. She had a soft spot for animals, especially her dog Jessie. You wouldn’t catch her without her hair done or her nails freshly painted. She had an outward joy that was immeasurable. Her family and grandchildren were her world. She adored them and loved them with all of her heart and soul.
Liz is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Timothy “Tim” Shea of Baton Rouge; her daughters, Brittany Shea of Baton Rouge and Lauren Shea Heller and husband Jared of Central; sister, Phyllis Crayton and husband Ben of Ponchatoula; grandchildren, Uriah Cortese and Amelia Heller; father in law and mother in law, Richard and Mary Shea of Avalon, NJ; niece, Catherine Romero and husband Dalton; and nephews, Justin and Jeremy Crayton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Betty Morein Barzare.
