VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth Fontenot, 18, announces her passing on May 10, 2010. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte with burial to follow in the Belaire Cove Cemetery.
A loving daughter, granddaughter, sister and aunt, she will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Shelia Dardeau of Belaire Cove and Carl B. Fontenot of Ville Platte, paternal grandparents, Raymond and Rella Fontenot of Ville Platte, her brother Fabian Fontenot of Ville Platte, two sisters Carla Thrasher and husband Jody of Ville Platte and Kimberly Sparks and husband Daniel of Baton Rouge, three nieces Crystal Savoy, Kelsey Savoy, and Taylor M. and four nephews Jody Thrasher Jr., Brock Thrasher, Brett Thrasher and Toby Thrasher.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Malcolm Dardeau and Hilda Joubert Dardeau.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Friday, May 14, 2010 from 9:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM Friday evening.
