Funeral services for Eligah Faith Rider, 1day old, will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 11am at the First Baptist Church in Ville Platte. Burial will follow in the St. Anns Cemetery in Mamou. Bro. Kevin West will officiate the services.

Miss Rider died Monday, October 23, 2006 in Womens and Childrens Hospital in Lafayette.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2006 from 5pm until time of services on Wednesday.

Survivors include her parents, Kevin and Crystal Rider of Ville Platte; two sisters, Breanna Savoie of Ville Platte and Katelyn Guillory Rider of Eunice; one brother, Dylan Savoie of Ville Platte; grandparents, Harold and Marilyn Manuel of Ville Platte, Wayne and Bonnie Meyer of Vidrine, August Jr. and Lena Castille of Ville Platte, and Jessie and Liz Rider of Chicot; grand grandparents are Merlin Firmin of Mamou, Barbara Fontenot of Ville Platte, Nelson Meyer of Ville Platte, Murry Rider of Reddell, Stanley and Gloria Fontenot of Reddell, Dud and Charlene Ardoin of Ville Platte and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
