VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Earline Duplechain McMillen, 64, announces her passing on Monday, January 09, 2012 at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 3:00 PM services will take place at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery with Fr. Jason Vidrine as Celebrant.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Earline leaves behind her loving husband of 48 years, William McMillen and three sons, Billy McMillen of Chataigner, Keith McMillen and wife, Lisa of Mamou and Brian McMillen and wife Anna, also from Mamou. Her memory will most certainly be cherished by her ten beloved grandchildren they were truly the light of her life. She also leaves behind three brothers and three sisters.
She now joins in Heaven, her parents, Dupre and Martha Thomas Duplechain. They await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the McMillen family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte, beginning Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 8:00 AM and continuing until time of services. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday afternoon at 2:15 PM.
