Donald Ardoin

VILLE PLATTE-Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Friday, September 6, 2019, for Donald Joseph Ardoin, 69, who passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in Lafayette, LA surrounded by his loved ones.

Father Blake Dubroc will conduct funeral services.

Burial will take place in Te Mamou Cemetery.

Donald Joseph Ardoin was born on February 8, 1950 in Ville Platte, LA to Curly and Velma Naquin Ardoin. Donald enjoyed mowing grass, spending time outdoors, and watching football.  His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, Spencer Ardoin and wife Brook of Belaire Cove; two daughters, Nicole Fruge and husband Marty of Belaire Cove and Chasity Vidrine and husband Barry of Ville Platte; grandchildren, Maci Johnson, Lauren LeBlanc, Summer Fontenot and Elliot Vidrine; step grand-daughter, Taylor Fruge and four brothers, James Ardoin, Bobby Ardoin, Ronald Ardoin and Harlan Ardoin.

He is preceded by his parents; Curly and Velma Naquin Ardoin and his wife, Mary Dorothy LeBleu Ardoin.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM.  A rosary will be recited by Deacon Gene Lebouef on Thursday at 6:30 PM.  Visitation will resume on Friday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
