Ville PlatteIt is with great sadness that the family of Delvin Vidrine, 74, announces his passing on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Lafayette General Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 1 PM. Rite of Committal will follow at the M. B. Fontenot Cemetery in Ville Platte with Father Romero as celebrant.

A loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, Delvin will be remembered by his wife of 53 years, Gloria W. Vidrine his son Steve Vidrine and his wife, Melissa of Tate Cove his daughters Rita Gayle Comeaux and her husband, Dale of Ville Platte, Pamela Fontenot and her husband, Michael also of Ville Platte one sister, Beverly Guillory and her husband, Terry of Pine Prairie his grandchildren, Chris Comeaux, Jeremy Comeaux, Lorrie Comeaux, Abby Comeaux , Elizabeth Vidrine, Brandon Vidrine, Benjamin Vidrine, Alex Fontenot and his greatgrandchildren, Areonna Pierce, Hunter Comeaux, Kaleb Taffi and Harlee Fontenot.

He now rests in heaven with his parents, Dolsey and Armide Vidrine and one brother, Donald Don Vidrine.

The family request that visiting hours be observed Monday February 21, 2011 from 4 PM until time of services on Tuesday. A Rosary will be recited on Monday at 7 PM .
