VILLE PLATTE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, for Deborah Ann Slaven Leblanc, 65, who passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.
Deborah Ann Slaven Leblanc was born on May 24, 1957, in Ville Platte, LA to Kenneth and Grace Slaven. She enjoyed spending time with her family and tending to her flowers and vegetable garden.
Deborah is survived by her three sons, Saul Slaven Dunckelman, Joshua Paul Dunckelman, and Kaleb LeBlanc; brothers, Albert Slaven and wife, Diane, Victor Slaven and wife, Christine, Daniel Slaven and wife, Caroline, and David Slaven and wife, Lesley; sister, Klea Brown; grandchildren, Alexis, Zander and Kinsley Dunckelman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Nathan Leblanc; parents, Kenneth and Grace Slaven; grandparents, Clem and Alicia Morein and Albert and Lula Slaven.
